the Fountainhead

So I'm actually reading this books now, you know, by Ayn Rand (seriously, there is more hate for her than there is for Hitler's Mein Kampf).

I got to admit, the writing could have been better, and the characters don't behave human at all.
There is this one dude, that suddenly decides to rape some girl, because he ''knew she had passion for him and if he didn't know that for sure he wouldn't have done it, she knew this as well''. I mean, what the fudge!? I'll remember that when I rape a girl, if I just think she'd like it, it's cool.

But I'm only halfway, maybe it'll improve.

Any book recommendations in the mean time?

  7. Ayn Rand is to literature what Ayn Coulter is to politics. Just dropping by to show my respect and support for a fellow blogger ;)
